Overview

Series 41 and 81 Modutrol IV™ motors are 2-position (line and low-voltage control, respectively) spring return motors. They are used tooperate normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dampers or valves in applications where it is necessary or desirable to have thecontrolled element return to the starting position in the event of power failure or interruption.

Motor and circuitry operate from 24V AC; models available with factory installed transformer, or a fi eld added internal transformer

Die-cast aluminum housing
Motors have auxiliary switch cams
Integral auxiliary switches are available factory mounted, or can be fi eld added
Motors have dual shafts (slotted and tapped on both ends)
Nominal timing standard of 30 seconds (90° stroke), and 60 seconds (160° stroke); other timings available
